The emblem of  the Bogdino-Baskunchak Nature Reserve was approved by the order of the Ministry of Nature Resources of Russia in 2012.

The emblem is a stylized image of a squeaky gecko.This  little lizard  inhabits only the territory of the Bogdinsko-Baskunchak State Nature Reserve.
